This is in-line with most post2000 wc suite designs and is a design feature to reduce contact between the wall and cistern thereby reducing the possibility of condensation. 'Sanitana 2006' model cistern will fit on to Original Close Coupled pan, however the inlet pipe will require alteration (Overflow is internal). 'Sanitana 2006' pan will fit under original cistern. 'Sanitana 2006' is not manufactured by the same company as the original 'Sanitana' range and is a range of ware we have sourced which is suitable for use as a replacement for the original 'Sanitana' sanitary ware as it is both similar in dimensions and style. The White is not identical to the original White however it is so close that we are unable to distinguish between the two Whites. This note has been added to our site as we have had one customer and one customer only who has complained over colour the match 14.3.2007 13:59. If you were to find the White unacceptable we would take back for credit any stock item of sanitary ware assuming it is undamaged and has not been fitted. We would not however refund any carriage charge (either way)
