The Pacific (aka Lisbon PV496) flush valve was available with either an 1-1/2" BSP thread (50mm diameter hole approximately in base of cistern ) where the flush valve fixes through the cistern or 2" BSP Thread (60mm diameter hole approximately in cistern approx.)
If replacing this valve you will firstly need to ascertain the size of your valve i.e. either 1-1/2" (50mm) or 2" (60mm) on the thread or 40mm/50mm in the hole of the White basket (which will need to be replaced in order to fit the new flush valve).
Once you have establish the size of your valve you can chose from the options below.

Before making any sense of these options you will need to measure the hole in the white plastic basket
left in the bottom of your cistern once you have removed the main part of the pacific flush valve.
